| A logbook is the way to go in my opinion.
I set up a seperate Excel worksheet for each heli. I just log the cum time off the transmitter and calculate whatever I want to keep track of. But, I am an Engineer and used to tracking and using data. I also used to fly full scale so keeping a logbook is a natural thing to do.
The best part is making notes on set-ups, type, fuel used, adjustments made, problems, etc. If you have a lot of helis and fly them all it can be difficult to remember what's happened to each one (at least if you are over 50!).
And..................it won't use up an "extra" receiver port!
