| I rocked the tail back and forth without the tail supports and I think there is some flex there. Not alot mind you. As I mentioned previously, the old tail boom support was a single rod, which is suppose was to prevent up and down motion. That being the case, I'd say Mikado felt that that was necessary. Now they've changed the design to not only minimize up and down motion, but also side to side. I'm theorizing that with all the stress 3d flying puts on the tail, the need for additional support is more necessary that ever. Now that's all said, will it fly without the boom support, I'm sure it will.
