I have almost made up my mind to go with the SK360 and I need some opinions. I will be using it on my E620.

1. Have there been any problems with the SK360 that I should know about?

2. Are there any alternatives in the same price range? I already have several Spartan gyros so I don’t want a 3-axis system.

3. All comments are welcome.

Ben - Like you I have gone to Spartan T/R gyros so the SK-360 is my preferred choice. I have three of the SK-360's all going on scale projects. First one in the air is a Mini-Titan fbless AH-1W Super Cobra. Flies as good or better than the flybar did, plus it looks like the full scale Cobra.

I believe I saw video of Henry Caldwell flying an electric with the SK360 and it wasn't a tame flight. So the say the V-Bar is the only way for 3D is a little credulous.

I think they are the same.

I fly my TREX 500 with the SK 360 and it feels the same as the VBAR did. I can't tell the difference. Maybe others might be able to. The SK is easier to setup by far but once you get the VBAR dialed in it works just as great.

You just have to decide if you want to use your T/R gyro or the VBAR one. I found the VBAR T/R gyro a bit of a challenge to set up optimally.

Price wise the VBAR is cheaper considering you get the entire package.
