Hello All,

I want to set up a fully loaded, maxed out to the limit Logo 600 3D Vbar EXTREME flying heli. Please tell me what is the BEST motor, ESC speed control, battery, or anything else I forgot to mention to get in order to build the ultimate 3D flying Logo 600 3D. Also what are the optional Mikado hop up parts/accessories to get?

in my opinion
motor: scorpion 4035-630
ESC: powerjazz
batt: outrages
servos: jr 8717
upgrades: i think that the only upgrade avaleible from mikado is the tail pulley #04175
offcorse vbar and if you want you can fit your tail with the metal one from quick uk(trex 600 tail)

sorry for my english

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention that I'm willing to pay top dollars to buy the BEST parts/accessories. So no matter how expensive the parts/accessories, please let me know what are the BEST to buy to set up the ultimate 3D flying Logo 600 3d Vbar?

in order of strongest, costliest, heaviest

1) actro 32-3, powerjazz, 10s 5000ma
2) actro 24-3, jive 80hv with heat sink, 10s 3700-4200ma
3) actro 24-4, jazz 55, same battery

First setup is balls out, will be higher maintenance. second is lighter but still very strong...that's what I run. Third setup has better flight times.

If I were to do it over, I would go with the 24-4 and the jive....light and can be set up for either flight time or power....24-3 is only good for power

There is a setups section on the Mikado forum on the freak, several listings.

Mikado mechanical upgrades

Are there ANY other mechanical upgrade parts/accessories from Mikado besides the tail pulley #04175? How about any moving parts that needs to be upgraded with ball bearings? Is Actro the BEST and most expensive motor you can buy for the Logo 600 3D? How do Plettenberg and Kontronik motors compare to Actro? What is the best main and tail rotor blades you can buy for this heli?

I have a Tango 45-7/Jazz 55-10-32 on 10s in my L600. (I also have a Tango 45-10 in an L10) It is no slouch! But, I can verify first hand that KC's Actro 24-4/Jive 80 smokes the crap out of it. Impressive climb outs - and everything else. To be fair, my FP3700's are not as new as his TP3850's. I believe the Actro is a superior motor.

The 8717's are so fast and accurate that I can see my fingers tremble in the heli on those occasions when I'm about to piss my pants. (Frequent with this heli)

Fun stuff!!!

I have been using 30C packs from performance plus RC 4000 and 4500mah they put my FP pack to shame.

Go with the Actro, you cant beat them IMO.

I prefer the 24-4 for the lower KV which allows for a larger pinion and more tooth engagement. Also allows you to run higher throttle percentages or lower HS if that is your preference.

Logo 600 Setup...

I have a few vbarred logo 600's and have tried about every combo out there...

I have to agree with abrajim...the 8717's and a powerjazz and 4035-630 Kv Scorpion on 16t and 30c packs is INSANE!!!...Fastest Setup I have EVER tried...

My Actro 24-3 machine was fast but the scoprion has a slight edge over it...I'd say the 630KV Scorp makes about 20% MORE than the Actros...

I run that Motor on one of my 600's with BLS451's and a Jazz 55 w/heatsink and it's fine also...8717's are killer but a bit unnecessary in my opinion..

Yo Jag, did you get 6mm pinions or change out the 6mm shaft? If so, how did it go? I am planning on changing out the 6mm shaft in favor of the 5mm shaft for the 4035-560kv motor.

Scorpions I am running now are outperforming any motor I have ran in the 600 for sure.

can't wait to see John's 4035-560 perform...looks like a good alternative to a 24-4....same kv but heavy enough to balance the heli out a little better when using lighter batteries up front.

I think the power thing is overrated unless you practice a lot and sleep with your Logo.... Any of the motors mentioned in this thread will rock

But the price of the Scorpion is almost half of the others which makes it a LOT more attractive.....Ron

No doubt, was thinking more about the actros than the scorpions when I said the power thing is overrated.

did 4 flights with my 24-3 today on a 12t pinion, 75% esc...we tached it at 2050 rpm,

fwiw, there really isnt any ESC more efficient than a Kontronik...the CCs can switch higher and run higher rpm inrunners which is fine if you like running Hackers and Neus and don't mind the heat produced or want that raw power feel that they are great for.

The Actro 24/Jazz however, is barely over 100 deg F at the end of a beating if you set them up around 2000rpm and 75% esc. theres a lot more room for power from them but at point the motor, esc, and battery are bulletproof and will last almost forever...no joke

I don't recommend the 24-3 as much because it needs a 12t pinion at that point, which is the smallest they make...its nice to have leeway with a lower kV motor.

If stepping up to 5000ma batteries and motors like the 4035 and actro 32, that adds almost a pound. the power is there, but so is the weight.

more power is cool, don't get me wrong, just not what I consider 'maxxed out'.

that 4025-630 scorpion looks ok to try sometim...114.00! right on!!

l`m sort of with KC on this one. lt`s usable power thats the key. With the new packs that we`re getting our hands on now its very easy to have gear stripping set ups if you have a heavy left thumb or right thumb in my case. But then again aint all that power great.
