Has anyone looked into gassing one of these.Looks like it might be a better prospect than a Raptor.

Yes ,i did not mean there is a new model on the way,just that it might make a good basis for a conversion.I know the Vibe range is a very popular heli here.

I agree the JR frame looks a good candidate for conversion but the deciding factor is normally based on parts availability and Kit price, I haven’t done any home work on the JR but I think the replacement parts are expensive.

i seen a vibe converted to a gasser, it was at a funfly a year ago,
i wish i had more info, but it can be done.

Vibe Gasser

Normally if i am thinking about a conversion i will generally use a used heli with all the bling added.Then if things dont work out i can move it on in its original form,generally though if you research well,it is pretty much a sure thing it can be done.

The frame layout probably will make the conversion easier as the engine/mechanics are sandwiched in between. With that configuration, you can almost use parts from another manufacturer.

I almost jump in happiness when I saw Trex 700 but I realized that the gear/pinion pitch is different than others - imagine 91T Raptor gear on 20T pinion.......
