The 3 inch leads from the receiver to the control are a little too short for my setup but the servos were perfectly centered as they were with the flybar setup .. I exchanged them for some 6 inch leads and the servo centering was off for all the cyclic servos.. I can recenter them with the wheel splines but is this going to compromise the Vbar setup?

Do I understand that all you changed were the servo leads?

I'd check that you didn't mix up the leads...

ahh

I understand what you are saying. No it will not compromise anything. The vbar has better trim than your trans. You are just moving the center to get your geometry and the endpoints follow as well.

The leads he is saying where too short since all of us mount the controller diffrent attaching it at a diffrent angle on a diffrent frame he used longer extensions to make a suitable area.

At the speed of light 3 extra inches only causes about 0.0000000003 second delay in the servo signals. Not enough to be seen as servo center changes.

Thanks all,

Yep, centering is off with the longer 6 inch leads from the reciever to the controller..When I go back to the 3 inch leads the servos are all centered again..I would like to get the controller a little further away from the rx for mounting purposes.. Ink, I hope to get to Mt Pleasant at least for Friday and get some tips..
