Flybarless Rotor Head Systems > Flybarless Headspeed: Do I need to change / suggestions for Trex 500

I converted my Trex 500 to flybarless and was wondering if I should turn down the headspeed because the head is now more efficient.

When I was flybarred I was running the typical 13T with a 100% flat throttle curve. Should I run a 12T & 100% or just turn down throttle to 90 or 95 flat? Or not do anything at all?

Thanks in advance.

if you feel as thou its to fast or real twicky with high headspeed you can turn down the throttle to 95% or 90% and it will give you more run time and be more efficent also.

If you have a 3026-1600, run the 13T with 100% flat throttle. I have this exact Vbar setup and it runs very cool flight after flight after flight...

You'll be quite happy.

Yeah it run great so far, that's what I ran when it was flybared. I was just wondering if I can get away with lowering HS for increased time. Theoretically if I was happy with it at 13T 100% flybared, should be happy with a lower HS flybarless due to the increased efficiency.

I will try inkspot1967's suggestion this weekend and see how it goes.

Would lowering the flat 100% to 95% / 90% 13T be more efficient than 100% 12T?

Anyone have a suggested HS to run on a flybarless TRex 500? I have a tach so I hopefully can get pretty close to whatever headspeed you guys suggest.
