Radio - JR & Spektrum DSM > is it safe to run 6volts through spectrum receivers with 401/JR3400G servo and 3517 cyclic?

title says it all, JR site says all these servos are good for 6 volts, and I know the 401 is fine with it. Just want to make sure I dont burn anything up since im going to Iraq and will be a pain to get replacement stuff. Im running a WR High Current BEC on 6 volts on my 500 with 8s if this helps some

So what do u think, over kill? I just got sick of bogging my first electric. Thanks man you have been a big help, I found we will have interent in Iraq so I will be posting pics and stuff while over there

No, It's not over kill. I always like to go a little better than what the system needs, For me it's a margin of safety.
