hello, anyone know are thier any differences in programming between the 9303 pcm and 9303 2.4 ghz? I cannot afford new 9303, thinking about buying a pcm 9303 used, then buying jr dsm module with rec. if I do this, will it be the same radio as buying new 2.4 ghz? everithing work the same? what all would I need to convert from pcm to 2.4? Module, Reciever, anything else?

the programming is the same I copied all of my models over through the radio from my pcm 9303 to my 2.4 tx and didn't have to change one thing on any of them .One of the biggest disadvantages in my opinion is not having the model match feature with the module conversion. with the 9303 2.4 tx you have model match and that is almost worth the price to me .

You lose the Model Match feature. And possibly Servo Synch.

And yuo don't get the nice LARGE timer display.

As mentioned above, you lose a couple of features, but programming is identical.

I've done what you are suggesting and I've been quite happy with my "home-brew" X9303. There is even a mod you can do to get the antenna wire inside the Tx, which I did to mine.

I was thinking of buying dsm module for my 8103; but I think you guys talked me into buying a 9303 2.4gz instead..thks cutter

You also lose the ability to use DSM (AR6000 and BR6000) Rxes. Module is DSM2 only.

I did the conversion to my XP9303 first. But quickly moved on an X9303. The Model Match has saved at least two models.

And the big timer display is very nice.
