| Problem diagnosticsHello fellow ATGers' !!
Almost finished of the final bit of this thread;
I'm in contact with Buzzin Brian a bit and as you can imagine he gets swampped with emails, but to his credit always responds. But because this thread has gone into a little detail we thought we might make things easier if everyone who has a set-up issue or other question pertaining to the ATG if you could post the following info and Brian and myself will knock everything over in one hit.
So for those seeking some assistance could you please post:
0. What version of the ATG do you have? 1,2 or 3? 1. Your heli 2. Your motor & Pipe 3. You fuel percentages (nitro, oil, meth) 4. Your Radio 5. Your throttle servo (including speed, digi or analogue) 6. Your ATV's on the governor channel (same as end-points), and also what the max ATV's on your Tx are; Some are 125%, some are 150% and so on 7. Your sub-trim value on that channel 8. If that channel is reversed or not 9. In reference to the three flight modes, the percentages' you've dialed into the ATG with each corresponding to that Flight Mode and also if they are positive or negative values. 10. Looking at your throttle curve (be careful!!) identify at what OUTPUT percentage from your Tx the ATG takes over control of the throttle servo 11. Is the problem in Normal Mode or ATG mode 12. With reference to ATG mode Idle up2, whereby you should be running a 3-point V-Curve; -ve 100%, x, +ve100%, what is your x value 13. Double check that your trigonometry is correct ensuring the fulcrum of the servo horn to the ball joint for the pushrod is the same distance to that of the carby. And also that the imaginary vertical lines created by these reference points are parallel ( you don want your servo horn at 45 degrees when your carby arm is vertical). 14. Finally... a bullet point synopsis of your problem / question
A pic of the No.1 machine, Vibe of course. They took this pic just as I was about to start some high-speed rolling circles on the deck. And if you believe that...!
cheers
