Dirt in the regulator is about the only thing that will cause that. You *do* run fuel filters, right?

some dripping is normal, its because your not releasing the tank pressure after shut down. i noticed it on my y.s. .50 becuae i herd a sizzling sound, it was the fuel leaking out of the carb throat down on to the head,if its pouring out there probably dirt stuck in the reg holding it open

dude..wheres my heli?????ama#902014

It doesn't take much to hold the regulator open . . .

And for what it's worth, mine are totally dry, even if I leave pressure on - a clean and properly working regulator valve seals that well. A small amount of dribble can be tolerated, but to say that it is expected under pressure I disagree with . . .

It kind of sounds like your not releasing tank pressure after flight. Do you have a vent on the pressure line??

Although it should not dribble much under pressure, it *IS* standard operating procedure on a YS to vent pressure immediately after shutdown. It does sound like you have leaky regulator, though . . .
