What does everyone think about conditioning a New li-po battery, does it really help? I just bought a new Zippy battery and would like for it to last as long as possible. So if you think the conditioning helps can you give me a simple way to do this? Thanks in advance for your help!

I was told once to slowly break them in. The ones I have, both 5S and 3S packs I have followed this procedure: First flight 2.5 minutes. Increased each flight by 1/2 minute until recharge hits 75-80% of battery capacity. I log all my recharges (date, flight time, mah put back in) so I know exactly how many cycles and what I am putting back into the batteries. No problems so far and now I actually know how much I am flying.

break in..

I hear there is no benefit to breaking them in gently...but here's what I have heard is best...

5 or 6 50% discharge cycles ....then balls to the wall flying on them and you'll be fine...
