| hey folks:
starter shaft on my old ZXX broke, ordered a new one using original part # in manual (circa '95), put it in, but starter coupling wouldn't seat properly on flat side of starter shaft, which appeared too short. Measured the original/broken shaft and it is about 5mm longer than the "stock" replacement I was sent.
Anyone run into this before or have some helpful feedback ?
