Question for all the smart people out there...after turning on my TX (DX6i) and powering up my RX (ar6200) my servos are alive right away but I am waiting close to a mintue...then the RX beeps and only then do I have power to my motor...what is this?

The TX is scanning the available frequencies and choosing two before you will have control to the RX. The ESC is what you are hearing beep, the RX makes no noise. The ESC takes some time to initialize and go through the self check and program sequence before you have control of the motor.
