G'day Guys,

Is it just me or has anyone else had carbon tail rods that are too long? Mine is about 15mm or so longer than what it should be! Ive checked over everything to see if it is just something else but seems that it is the tail rod that is too long.

What dimension is it when you say it's too long? I have the threaded inserts sticking out 8mm and screw on the link almost all the way. That way if one end of the rod cracks and the threaded rod comes loose it can't move in more than to the link which is only a few mm.

That is how mine is also. The ball links screw down all the way to the carbon rod.

If the wings are travelling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter

Yeah i meant as in it is longer by 15mm not including the thread. Im getting is sorted out with the local synergy dealer now. Thanks
