| vibe 50 or 90? either way, i know guys running n9's with 710's, 8717's, etc on 5.7v on an align 6amp reg just fine (believe it or not). 10 amp on 6v's should be fine. insured against brownouts? i dunno about that one. just make sure you have a bind free head linkage setup and you should be good.
will the 8v's wear out the servos faster? sure. how much faster, i have no idea. guys here have been running them on 8v's for a while so that's good to know.
