Does anybody have an email address for Futaba's service center in Japan? Or does anybody have the details for returning a gyro and servo for service that was bought online from overseas?
Thanks,
Keith

If you buy that combo from Helihut, can you get it serviced in the states? Because 200 USD seems like a good price to me.

I guess that's the catch. I haven't bought mine yet but I was leaning to Helihut because of the price.

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with that combo from Helihut? I've read about people having problems with gassers. Mine will go on a Raptor 60. I'll say it again "200 is better than 270"

Thanks,
Dave

I have ordered 3 gyro's from them.....401,502,601 one of each...They ship REALLY fast.....$17 gets you 2 day shipping! I have great success with them and have ordered at least 6-7 times with a total WELL over $1500.digital servo's,9202's...etc...GREAT prices and service! Charles does a great job!

Why does Helihut not have warranty on products sold there. They are a part of the US and I've heard that they buy there stuff in bulk and thats why they are able to sell so cheap.

David, what happens if you don't have a receipt...like you bought them a gyro second hand? I myself am not worried about the repair cost of an overseas purchased gyro or governor; Futaba is quite fair (not to mention FAST) as pertaining to labor and parts cost so the benefits to buying second hand or overseas outweigh the disadvantages. I try to buy everything I can from Andy and/or Ron but man; for $600.00 I can either get 2 401/9253 form a "real" hobby shop or 3 401/9253 gyros from overseas... So bottom line for me is this: save $100.00+ on each new gyro and eat the repair cost should I ding it. Chris

On the ishiimokei site (Japanese side) the GY401/9253 is JY15400. the GY502/9253 is JY15600. and the GY601w/servo is JY32280. . Multiply JY by .0075 to get the exchange rate to USD as of this morning! Be aware of the 12% tax and other bank and shipping charges...I think it's too close to Helihut and Cyberheli to call after all the excess charges from Japan! IMO Origato ya'll Chris

Gyro service

So what do you do then to get service on a Futaba product not purchased in the US? Do you send it to Japan? Or do you send it to Hobby Services and pay for it to be fixed?
