Sorry to get hopes up... This is more of a question for MRC-Hirobo. I enjoy the quality and flying characteristics of my evo 50, and wonder if hirobo will come out with a 500 size machine that isn't as expensive as the Lepton. I understand the quality of the lepton is great, but the crash costs are similar to a .90
I'd love to see a version of the lepton with more plastic head parts and a reduced price. My evo is mostly plastic and is tough and fly's fantastic. I never really understood why MRC went so high end with the Lepton, it put it above most peoples price range.
Is there any possibility of a new 500 size, or an inexpensive version of the lepton?

I had heard there was going to be a cheaper non carbon fibre version of the 500 released but havent seen anything appear. However, I've been wondering what Hirobo are upto and my feeling/wish is that they will produce a 50 size version of the Turblence which can take nitro or electric power..that would get them back into the game against Align

Currently Hirobo is finishing up on the Turbulence D3 90, next up on the redesign block will likely be a 50 size heli, and following that will likely be the Lepton... so we hear

In the early days there was talk of a cheaper plastic version of the Lepton
That was two years ago - so I think we can assume it aint gonna happen

A 50 sized Turbulance could be very interesting
The only problem is price compeditiveness
Between the Align Trex600 and the Logo600 and the Vibe 50
they have hit a great quality level and price point
Somewhat hard to compete with them really...
