Just looked at the link that you provided and maybe not so bad. Seems like a great tool for panos. I would love to take a class to learn how to do them.

thanks, but i prefer my 360 Absolute as i never have to find a nodal and its fairly batch-able.

i have shot hundreds of panos with it and IMHO it's the one of the best pano heads out there.

This is a very nice product, but I think super precision is no longer needed with the use of modern stitching software. In the old days, it was very critical to get everything lined up, evenly spaced and leveled because the available software were not as "smart".

For my ground panos, I just use a cheapie pano head that costs less than $100, the result is excellent as well.
