I have two GSR 260 one I purchased from John at Air Foil that flies great and another I bought used with low time, approx. two gallons. I have tried different engine speeds at hover and it helps some. I was told the heli had a hard landing but never was crashed. I know foaming usually has to do with misalignment of the fan and clutch. Assuming that this area is correct is there any other areas that I should look at? Thanks for reading this. I will check for replys tomorrow.

Main shafts, tail shafts, ill tuned motor/plug, imballanced rotor blades, paddle alignment.. usually foaming is high frequency.. so check items that are spinning fast! I'd give the clutch and fan a real close inspection for sure. check for run out on the motor without the clutch and fan too..

Another thing you might want to check is the bearings. Main shaft, tail pinion (common for being the first to go) and the clutch.

Good luck and I hope you find out the source.

Thanks for reminding me of the areas to check. I will be sure to isolate the problem and report the progress.
