Would "Hitec HS425BB" servo's be OK for the Cyclic and Pitch on a 50 size Heli? If not what is the minimum torque need for these?

Thanks, RCFlyer.

Cyclic shouldn't need a high torque servo I thing something in the 45-60 range should cover it.

Pitch lever can need something as high as 60-80. Those blades are doing allot more work than they would if it where a 30 size engine driving them.

I suppose in a short term crunch you could run something in a 50 tq on the pitch as long as you arn't driving the pitch real hard. Basically if all you are doing is FFF, loops, rolls and hovering about the lower torque should work fine.

As for the specific servo you are asking about, I don't know the specs on it. Sorry

I'd say go with the 545 or 525 Hitecs, minimum.
