| Well, Ron L's Corpus Fly-In is this week-end. That is one everybody should make at least once. If nothing else, you get to roam the candy store.
The great majority of us never get to see the inside of a proper heli-oriented hobby shop. Seeing as there are probably less than a dozen such in the US, that's not surprising. But stepping into Rick's is magic.
Anyway, I wish I was there. I know of several "regulars" here who are there.
And the mild winter (so far) means a lot of folks will be out flying or doing something other than sitting in front of a computer. I know I'll be painting today; gonna get the final trim colors on the X-Cell 30 canopy. It's been a hassle getting this far (due to all the bits & pieces I had to acquire to make the thing fit), but I think it is gonna be worth all the trouble.
