hello all , have borrowed a kasama head for my titan ,instead of going direct to the swash , i`ve gone via the mixing arms on top , i have +/- 12 degrees on pitch and 11 degrees all round on cyclic , flew last night for the first time , this convertion makes the flying a doddle , tic-tocs, pie dishes , even low n slow circuits are a breeze , have just changed to leading edge which i`ll try soon , its got a standard pro 50 engine n kit exchaust but she still moves well on her first few goes , me pleased

Did you use any gyros on the head?

Hello Ady,

DO you have more news?
I'm trying to convert a Titan in flybarless, just I don't know if I need a system (v-bar, sk360), gyros or nothing

Best regards,

Gaston

hello there , yes she`s very well indeed , but said titan has been 4 blade`d lately , seen elsewhere in here but she`s now back to 2 blades , flew today but had my pro 50 engine die , so i`ve put my 53 redline back in , so the flybar is back in till thats run in and sorted , but she`ll go straight back to the previous setting once i`m happy with the engine

Actually really interested in more info on this, looks really simple to implement and I have a spare head available with a bunch of parts. I was going to cheat though and look at putting Gyro's on the cyclic servo's.
How easy is it too fly, any need for expo, whats it like in FF?

yes its easy to do , you can do it with the standard head which i did before the kasama head was thrown at me , i did go straight to the grips from the swash but that was a bit hairy , by having those arms at the top it makes life easier , fast forward flight is fine by me , when ya really start motoring you just add a bit of down elevator , after a while i started doin it naturally , the extra power gained is very handy , tic-tocs are better ,nice n snappy , you do have to fly the heli tho , good luck , i luuvvvvvvvv mine
