Is it a piece of junk or not..I hear it flies nice but is the quality such that I should move on to a better made helicopter.. Is it worth building.... What is the verdict... Lets hear the truth..I have the equipment to build another 90 sized ship.. Should I put it in the t/700??

My opinion, even with the 2 or 3 small issues it has, get one. It flies great.

You think your kids are expensive now?

Just wait until they move out!!

I finally got to open mine up and push it around and all I can say is WOW. To me this machine tracks very well and seems to be very light.

the only build issues i had were getting the canopy grommet savers in the canopy..holes a little small..and my links were a little crooked after they were built...but other then that,it was a fun build..and the way it flies and as cheap as it is to put back together id buy it over again if i had the choice

Is it of the quality of a MA heli? ... No
Does it fly as good.....HECK YEAH(and a little different because it is much ligther)
Fun factor 200%
Easy to build...without a doubt
Fuel and fly...YES
Is my Fury for sale as a result...YES

For me it is simple. A heli that is 95% the quality of the higher end machines 30% less(roughly) $$$ that is equally capable in the air wins hands down.

Maybe I got lucky with my kit but the build issues where nearly zero. Easiest heli I have ever built by far. The only issue being a setup issue/misprint in the manual. No issues related to QC or fit of parts. 50plus flights so far and the only thing are the dampers wearing out, which really doesn't bother me at $3.99 to replace and I'm certain some better aftermarket are on the way. And there is nothing that needs upgrading...its all there stock. The only legit upgrade would possibly be to sell the Align Gov and use one of your own preference.

I can fully appreciate the MA's I've owned over the years from a quality standpoint but I've never had this much fun flying and progressed so much in such a short amount of time without the tinkering or constant maintenance.

I'll give ya a gallon of fuel for the Fury.

I only had a couple of issues during the build, which were just the rods being the wrong size. Easy to build, fun to fly. It does love to fly fast. With the OS 70 and 690 mah blades i run 14 minutes of scale type hovering-ff.
Buy it, your going to like it!

Great heli, very light and flies very well.
Easy bulding and maintenance, very accessible.
Evry part is high quiality, except from the thread of socket head button, no complaints.
I would preffer this heli over my vibe 90 anyday.

The quality for most parts are actually pretty ok. Its just some of the minor parts that are not quite as quality as from the big names. Consistency from batch to batch might be the issue here. On mine, I had a few issues like linkage rod length being wrong, carbon sleeve for the rudder rod being too small and of course, crooked ball links.

Without a doubt, it flies good. Responsive on the collective and decently fast on the cyclic. And there is room for an insane amount of pitch and cyclic if you can handle it.

#61 on the 700N list and Proud of it.

Another satisfied 700N owner here who's also sold a Fury Extreme to buy it. No doubting the Fury's quality but I found the repair costs were limiting my flying, the 700's spares are little more than the 600N's.

Yes the 700 is very good , but you need previous experence to build it , manual is very poor , they have skiped through sections , most of the rod lengths are totally wrong.

Yes the link ends have not been drilled straight and the canopy holes need to be opened up but its a superb helicopter.

If your a new builder then wait until they fix the manual and get the rod lengths correct.

If I need to compare the quality of the 700 to my Vobe 90, I would say it's the same.
Building heli like the vibe takes much more work vs the 700.
The manual from some reason is not so clear, the bags are not numbered really good.
Except that, only the rudder pushrods measurement wasn't really reasonable.

Put mine up for the first time yesterday and love it! Except for a couple of issues (which I'll document on another thread), the build was a pleasure too.

I agree with Majestic12. I flew my Stratus and my 700 back to back and the 700 was more responsive and felt lighter in the air. They're nearly the same weight. I couldn't tell an appreciable difference. The 700 felt more nimble in the air.

I crashed my Stratus this weekend (not pilot error) but if it was a very bad crash, I'd consider just junking it. Luckily, it wasn't too bad.

I really like the 700 and it definitely is the best 700 for the price. If you take away the tail blades and paddles, the kit is around 700 bucks. Most other kits, you have to still buy those parts.

My 600N is going to get a lot less flying time as a result!
