So the logic applied is that if the vendor makes a mistake, as a logical person, you are required to capitalise on this mistake and leave him out of pocket?

This is not the same as a purchase on ebay by the way. The seller knows the risks by not setting a reserve and no mistake was made.

As a business owner I make mistakes and have lost my A$$ many times, just part of doing business. In this case you have a customer who just wants to capitalize on a mistake, part of doing business. Just take the loss and move on.
BTW: It's a write-off

Just a cost of doing business.

I totally understand that its the cost of doing business, and the vendor should write it off as a dumbass mistake. but the buyer whining about the vendors actions here on the forum, whilst trying to capitalise on a mistake is bad form imho.

why should a business man be forced to suffer at the hand of a liar who "airs" such absurb gripes, which hold as much water as a sieve?

who do those who have been so grievously treated, those whose cases are so cut and dried, those who brag that the "stupid" distributor was taken advantage of and ask for the acceptance of those on a forum to justify their actions.

It's easy, when it is acceptable to not only get something for nothing, and portray the scammer as a victim, demonstrates why morons
who spend all of $75(if that much) feel that a distributor just lives to screw them over.

because they don't have a leg to stand on.

admittedly we miss priced the 700 combo deal on our by not calculating in the cost of the kit , biggest pricing opps we ever made in the 6 years of rchover. We luckily only sold a few of these combos before we figured it out, and approached all who got this deal, everyone who got this deal had been completely understanding about this mistake and we offered in compensation for these customers to get the entire package deal at our cost + extra. But Except Mr R.Stiller has been holding our feet to the fire on this and will not meet in the middle at all.
We tried to offer him to return it for a full refund including return ship..
We offered to give him the deal at my cost +some,
but there is no negotiation with this guy he wants, what he wants and that's it!
This is sucking up allot of time and energy so here is very very reasonable offer to Mr R. Stiller.

********As all of you fellow freaks here on HF as my witnesses...I will ship out Mr.R Stiller the balance the goods agreed to that we owe, ONLY AFTER Mr. stiller removes the hold/dispute on the paypal funds it will be sent... I will post the delivery conformation # to this forum. then all off you guys can be my witness that the goods did arrive. my word is as good as gold as 99.99% of you know..++++++

now we can get back to flying helis

Good onya Rchover. Bang up thing to do, giving the dude a free chopper, cause of a little typo.

Says volumes, that every one but this guy, had no dramas with making it right.(Us as informed consumers, rchover as a vendor, and this guy as a shyster)

Cheers for the info.

See ya site soon.

at the end of the day, opening this thread and the HF thread only damages his image, not RCHover. The invoice shows that he was not charged for the kit, and yet he demands it. He is the only one holding you accountable, even though it is clear that there was an honest misunderstanding. What I see is an opportunist who does only what's in his own best interest and not what is in the best interest of the hobby. Hats off to RC Hover. As for the guy who tried to grill RC Hover, I would certainly not look forward to flying with you.

I perfer to do buisness with upstanding people like you. I wont try and screw you over like heli-styles. Hes just being a jerk and will end up getting it in the end. Just so you know heli-styles carma has a way of fixing things.
Have fun flying.

This has certainly backfired for the original poster as I also am adding RChover to my list of places to buy helicopter equipment.

Well now... Mr. Stiller didn't tell us about that! As a matter of fact, Mr. Stiller told us:

this man and company was paid in full

and:

I then filed a complaint with paypal..

There's a huge difference between a "complaint" and a "dispute"!

Mr. Stiller = Opportunistic thief.

I have a stake here, as I am one of the others that purchased this combo deal and have been watching the thread. Search for my post on hf "Wicked Deal" if you want to substantiate.

To all those that accused the poster of taking advantage - let me assure you I did not. I called RC Hover a few times to confirm the deal was real, and even asked if it included the 700 itself. I had also done my homework, sourcing the best deal on individual components, and found that this deal was better by a few hundred dollars.

I called Jeremy this morning to confirm i was one of the people he referred to in his post, and I am. He has made an offer to re-price everything at cost, and we plan to talk later today. I don't expect it will be difficult to come to agreement.

I suggest the original poster release the PayPal funds to RC Hover. Without that Jeremy is out the whole purchase amount, not just the cost of his mistake. I've bought two complete kits from Jeremy in his shop. I trust that he will do as he says.

I hope that the original poster replies to the thread that PayPal has been released, and we can stop wasting valuable bandwidth.

Heli-styles its people like you that drive the price of thing up. In the long run it hurts everyone. Even you, it might not be next time but it will catch up with you.

thanks alot for ruining it for everyone.

If you cant tell I am pissed off that someone in this great community would take advantage of a good vender like this.
