I ordered two sets of white carbon paddles. Both have the same part number but these paddles are very different.

One set weighs 13 grams and the other set weighs 20 grams. One set is much smaller in size but the odd thing is both sets have the same part number.

H60170T is the part number.

BTW, my vpaddles weigh 15 grams just for comparison and the stock paddles weigh 17 grams.


Anyone else run into this yet?

Looking at a picture of the 500 paddles they look different. These have the set screw on the end not on the top and bottom.

I am pretty sure they have the white CF paddles for both the 500 and 600. I have the white paddles for the 500. I almost ordered the white ones for the 600 but I like the black carbon fiber look better for my 600's. The white doesn't look bad I think it gives my 500 a clean look.

I just ordered a set of the paddles. They are 5mm smaller than the set I ordered months ago, maybe Align just changed them. I like how the new ones fly.

By the way I don't have pictures yet but I did buy the black carbon fibers for my 600 E. They are about 5 MM shorter and about 2-3 MM wider than the black carbon fiber paddles that came with my 600 NSP. What is the deal with that?

I recently bought a new set of paddles for my 600 NSP and they are also the smaller version as mentioned above. The original set that came with the kit are white @ 80mm in length - the new set are black @ 75mm in length and were ordered from a list of parts stating 'Trex600NSP parts'.
I was going to send them back as I had presumed they were for the 500 and mistakenly placed in the wrong list of parts, but by the looks of the above comments, they could actually be for the 600. Has anyone worked out what is going on ?
I suppose I should just put them on and give them a go and see what happens -

Welcome to the world of Align parts and part numbers.I have seen many parts with identical numbers change eithir color or materials.Now it is possible that these are just vendor changes or for the improvement of a part.I was also disappointed with white paddles because of the safety wire in them.These are just blades that have been cut into paddle sets.The original black carbon paddles were not this way and for this reason the new paddles are heavier.

1- take apart 2-repair damage 3-check everything 4-go fly and crash 5- repeat #1
