Update: to keep with the increasing popularity of 2.4GHz radio equipment North Nott's Heli Fly-in will be adopting an IRCHA style flight line with a number of flight stations clearly marked out by cones. Pilots will queue behind one of the cones and wait for their turn to fly. We will also have a dedicated Scale area
** ALL TRANSMITTERS WILL STILL NEED TO BE CHECKED INTO Tx CONTROL **
ALL transmitters will still need to be checked along with BMFA insurance etc before any pilot is allowed to fly. Once checked and pilot details taken, all 2.4GHz equipment will be returned to the pilot to keep under their control for the day and not kept at Tx control. Only 35MHz transmitters will need to be kept at Tx control for the purpose of frequency control.
