As of now I am flying the Vigor with the 610mm flybar and the red paddles.

I have been doing some rolls and such with the ship but It seems too slow for me.

I have read about the 450mm flybar breaking.

So how about I take a 610mm flybar and cut it down to say... 500mm and thread it, then use the grey paddles that came with the Vigor Kit??

What kind of a roll rate will I experience with this combination??

In comparison to the 610mm combo. Has anyone done this?

I would like to set up the "ailerons" and "elevator" with a dual rate switch on the 9C (just like my planes), can that be done on a Heli??

doesnt a longer flybar have more cyclic control compared to a shorter flybar????? try the v-paddles or miniture airs new paddles

I did just that

Kobinger, I flew with the 610mm flybar, but not the red JR paddles. I thought the attachment system looked like crap. I put on some black MA paddles. I then cut the flybar to 480mm, and tried the gray paddles. Very quick cyclic, but not "strong enough" for the maneuvers. It seemed to jump right into the maneuver, but exit slow, and not very well. Also, very pitchy in FF. I took them off, kept the 480mm bar, and put the MA paddles back on with the weights all the way in. I LOVE how it flies now.

Why cut down the flybar. JR makes a 500mm flybar. I do not remember the part number though. But i did buy 1 just to try it out. Havent had a chance to try it yet.

pain in the butt to get it threaded, though.

I have 2 610mm flybars... &

None of the 500mm flybar...
Sooo Why spend the money to buy another, when I already have it...
