can someone please explain what causes and how to fix my 401 gyro tail wagging out of control? should the ds switch be on or off and dir reverse or normal. it is set up for 3d and i had a hard crash. i sent it to my local hobby shop for repair and it came back no better with brand new servos stripped out. i replaced the servos and it all seems ok except for the terrible tail wagging. please help me as i have little to no experince with the set up process.

Hi

Is the gyro securely mounted?

With the heli on a table and obviously with the motor not running, does the tail servo twitch when you move the collective stick up and down?

Mine did this and it was the pot on the transmitter stick.

Hope the info is of some use.

Bro,

It sounds like you don't do the work on your heli yourself? I HIGHLY recommend YOU learn everything there is to know about your heli, and NOT rely on a LHS.

With that said, go over to helifreak and watch ALL of the Finless video's on the 450. In particular, there is one on setting up the GY-401.

Good luck!
