i think there is no problem, i use two 5S and one 2S pack in series in a extra330 for 12s and so far no problem, i think you may be interested in on hyperion duo charger because it's seems to have two independent ports for balancing and charging,i am not sure because i don't have one

but if it have two ports it maybe can charge 6s on one and 4s on the other

As long as the packs are the same company and "C" rating it should be fine. It also helps if they have had roughly the same amount of cycles through them. Just make a series Deans connector and connect them together when you put them in the heli. That way you can charge them seperately and don't have to worry about balancing issues.....Ron

As long as they are same C rating, as well same MAH then you are fine.

Yep, should be good, I've been running some A123's in series and they work fine, just try to keep the wiring length to a minimum.
