| Denis, A "Y" harness on the throttle is exactly what I was thinking. When I plugged the Mini-Flash lead into the throttle (channel 3) on the receiver,It worked exactly as Tom (DIYRC) had explained for a rotary knob switch. Tom had sent my set up already wired and programed with different lights turning on at different knob positions. With them plugged into the throttle channel, they work in the same manner. 0 - 1/4 turn = 0 1/4 stick, 1/4 - 1/2 turn = 1/4 - 1/2 stick, 1/2 - 3/4 turn = 1/2 - 3/4 stick, and 3/4 - full turn = 3/4 - full stick. My though was to reprogram a couple of things and have the landing lights go on at 0 1/4 stick and stay on until 1/2 stick, the nav lights come on at 1/4 stick and stay on all the way up to full and the anti-collision strobes come on at 1/2 and stay on to full stick positions. My thought was on the throttle channel, the lights would work every time and I wouldn't have to mess around turning a knob or moving a slider every time.Make it more automatic if you will.
