Hi,

My friend just asked me to check his predator before it's maiden flight. I found some minor adjustment required and also found this bigger problem :



In which you can see the thrust bearing has been assembled before the tail blade holder!

I've made a correction by doing this, looking at the specs in the manual :



One is just perfect but the other begins to be super tight as soon as the lock nut touches the bearing. I've put the shim just before puting the second bearing and have undone and rebuild it a couple of time just to be sure it was built like the other one.... without luck!

Any idea what to look for?

Sounds like you are missing the small M3x5x.05 washer/spacers.

If it is assembled as per the instructions, it should work very smoothly when the lock nut is securely screwed on.
