e-Electric Batteries & Chargers > Lipo balance charging ?

Can someone please help?
I have a Bantam e-station BC5 balance charger. Can anyone tell me, what charge current should I be charging my 11.1V 3s 1800 & 2100mAh batteries? The guy at the LHS had it set at .1A to balance charge, but it seemed to take forever, nearly 2 hrs, and the battery was not run very low. In fact ,I didn't even let it finish. I don't need it to charge in a matter of minutes, but 2 hrs seemed a little long.
That brings me to my next question, can I put that partially charged battery back on the charger and it will just complete the charge or could that cause damage to the battery? I realize that stopping a charge before completion may not be the best thing for my batteries.

Thanks for the advice in advance!

no...that wont hurt it at all.

keep in mind that even a partial charge is still considered one cycle from its life.

Thanks guys!
Yeah Pete, I figured it was something like that. I can live with one exta cycle.
Would running the battery down after an incomplete charge cause a problem like it does in a cel phone battery? Building in a memory of sorts.

no

the memory issues are related to NiCs only and why they need to be discharged prior to recharging to avoid this.

Happy flying!
