It's available from Waka-Models in Japan at least. It will cost you 45000 Yen + shipping + credit card fee (I think it is 12% which includes some tax if I am not mistaken). Mr. Hiroshi at Waka-Models is great to order from

i just did the conversion. 45000 yen is about $400. I was hoping it would be closer to $300

I agree. It's expensive. I paid around the same for the SSZ-3 head a few years ago

Both the rotor head and Turbulence D3 will be available in the US by mid-September.
Hirobo is on vacation until the end of August and won't actually ship to the US until first week in September.

Anticipated MSRP for the model is between $1399-$1499. The Turbulence D3 will be competively priced with other high-end 90 class machines: Stratus, Vibe 90 SG.

No extras needed to make it run properly or fly right.

Chris.

Hi Dan,

Just sent you a PM regarding the new head and shipping. Also, on the Freya, I noticed that Dominik runs 710's with the 105 tail, can you run bigger blades with the new head on the Freya Evo with the 105 tail? on the SSZ-3 you could only run 95's with 710's?

Brendan,

MRC cannot sell Hirobo products outside of the USA. For availability and price in your area please contact the following distributors:

http://model.hirobo.co.jp/network/contacts-oc.htm

According to Hirobo, a Freya equipped with the SSR4 head can swing 710 mains with 105 tails.

SO the Freya Evo OpII will have the new head? Has the MSRP for it been released?

Thanks

The Freya EVO OPII has the SSR4 head. Pricing has not been established. We may not carry it as a regular product. However, we may offer people the option of special ordering it. Despite this, the price will likely be not much cheaper then that of the Turbulence D3 kit.

When more information becomes available we will post it.
