Hey all,

I had my maiden flight today with my freestyle. It flew great! It was a long road getting it to this point. It seems like every time I got it close to flying something happens and I have to stop and start again. I thought I was going to be nervous since this is my first time flying a 90, but she felt great and responded well in the air. It felt as if I was flying this bird for years. She is no longer a "work in progress shelf queen"...lol. I came close to selling her twice but I am truly glad I didn't!

Thank you all for letting me share, and pics of her are in the gallery.

regards,
Furron

Congrats

She flies as nice as it looks eh?

90's are awsome to fly. the size can be a little intimidating, but they handle so nice!

Yeah looking at it on the bench waiting to fly I was kind of nervous, but once I was behind the sticks it was like I known her all my life...lol The funny thing was it was a couple of guys at the field who didn't know what it was at first. They thought it was a vibe (didn't have the canopy on and they were down the field). Once I got her trimmed out and put the canopy on, they were like man that's a nice flying bird.

By the way thanks for all your help! Now I have to figure out which bird will become a shelf queen because I am going to be flying the freestyle a lot...lol

Thanks

Check out the Stetson Funfly section of my gallery, got a tonne of pics taken of it last weekend. I personally prefer the Predator canopy on my Freestyle.

Let me know if you need anymore help with it. although if your freestyle is anything like mine, you wont need it

The only problem I find with the freestyle canopy is it is a B!+ch to get it off of the front canopy mounts.
