I have a I have a RCE-BL25/35G

This is my first ESC set up. I enter set up mode and follow the directions using high, mid, and low stick. Then when it's gone through all 5 options, I unplug the batt and then plug it back in. When it goes though the beeps to tell me how it's set, it's all wrong and not what I set. What am I missing? Does it have to do with my throttle settings? I have a Dx6i.

Now one thing is it's beeping 3 times for airplane mode. That's heli mode 2 with soft start and governor (I wanted just soft start). Anyway, when I spool up the heli, it's definitely not in soft start.

Anyway, I'm sure I'm missing something.

Any help will be appreciate.

Do you have a linear throttle (edited) curve setup in your Tx for programming? 0 - 25- 50 - 75 - 100

Did you "teach" the ESC the high and low stick positions first?

I didn't do either. So linear pitch curve, what about throttle?

How do I teach the ESC the stick position?

My limited instructions didn't' mention any of this.

Oops, linear throttle curve is what I meant.

Pitch curve doesn't matter.

Normally you start power up with High stick, then as soon as you get the startup tones, go to low stick, then power down.
