Hi all:

While setting the ATG with the G-View, the LED is always displaying RED. Is this a problem? Even when I done with the setting the RED LED is on when I powered up my TX.

Any ideas?

What ATG version? 1,2, or 3? What radio are you using? I had the same problem until I redid everything.

Ok managed to set it. It is my basic set up.

But now a new problem. The sensor does not seems to read. ie the LED now is not showing red when the magnet is over it. I got the polarity right.

Any idea?

The red indicates that the high and low are set the same. Re-set the high and low settings and make sure you are in normal mode when you do. It shows red like that to indicate that there is a serious problem. The high and low the same in normal mode is an amazingly bad situation. It will hot start bad if left that way. Re-set those settings and get back with me. If the sensor died we can send you another one, but it sounds like that might not be the issue. If you need any help feel free to contact us at tech2@curtisyoungblood.com and I will make sure you are taken care of. We are currently at IRCHA, but should be back in the office on Tuesday.

Brian Thanks a lot.

I had looked at Finless video and did the resetting for many times. It is still the same. The problem is after the setting we are supposed to do step 3: Magnet and sensor Alignment. Page 16 of the manual. My ATG simply do not shine red when the magent is directly underneath the sensor. I even tried with both sides of the magnet and sensor.

Please help me. I am from Singapore and not sure if you could do anything about it.

Cheers.

I can have an over seas dealer help you. We will get you taken care of 100%. Send me an e-mail at tech@curtisyoungblood.com and I will get you another sensor sent to you for testing to determine if this is the issue. If it is not I will have you send it to our distributor in Hong Kong and we will get you a brand new unit. We will make SURE you have a working unit!

the atg will only read the sensor if you have the radio in throttle kill position or where you set the low throttle position, not where idle is

Hi Inkspot.

Can you share more lights with me? I tried to set the lowest throttle already but no avail.

on a 9303/12x

to set your low you should have the throttle stick down and the throttle trim all the way down, then hit the L to set low throttle.

move the throttle trim to the middle position

then move the stick to high position and hit the H to set high side.

to check to see if the sensor is working move the throttle stick to low and put the throttle trim all the way down and then check the sensor

I have a Futaba 9CH Super with a Spektrum module, you have set the kill switch to activate the sensor light, the throttle has to be at "0" or shut down for the sensor light to work, it all depends on how you calibrated the throttle during setup.
