Guys for those of you that use the above could you just clarify something for me.

When you hook it up to do a check and push the button do you find that it will for a split second give a voltage reading that is higher that the one it displays after a second or so.

Mine has always done this its as if it gives a voltage reading of the pack momentarily before applying a load to it and then it applies a load and gives a reading for that when under load.

I just need to know if this is how every one elses work and mine is not faulty.

Many thanks

Have seen the same thing with mine. Likely due to what you said, seeing the voltage before it calculates and applies the load. If you can verify the reading against a DVOM, but if you are confident that the readings are accurate there is nothing wrong with what you are seeing.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply,
That would suggest that mine is working ok and that there is nothing wrong with it if yours acts in a similar manor.

When interpreting the results of the read out at what point do you stop flying and recharge.

Would you stop when the pack reads 4.8 volt, and would that be with the initial reading it gives which would be higher anyway or the reading with the load applied, because my 2000 mah nicad sub C pack would read 4.8 volts after first flight of say 20 minutes when the load was applied.

Thanks again.
