unfortunately the new V-Bar Control Panel (--> http://www.mikado-heli.de/ item code 04152) only works with the latest versions of V-Bar having the USB connector on board.
A level converter is required to connect the panel to the "old" serial V-Bar. Please find an excellent manual how to build this yourself here: http://www.vstabi.de/forum1/read.php?9,12241
It's cheap and done within 30 minutes... Great thing as I don't have to carry my notebook with me to the airfield anymore. Thanks Tom (dl7uae)!
