JR Heli Vibe - Airskipper - Sylphide - Venture > V50 - You have got to be kidding me, how has this not been mentioned?

Man, you have got to be kidding me. I get the Vibe today, and open up the box, and this is what greets me.

Who packages their stuff like that? That's incredible, what an amazing attention to detail. I've never seen a kit packed so well. I can only imagine how good the heli is if they've put this much effort into the build experience.

That is kinda nice.
I'd like to get one of these for next year.
Does the heli come with a printed manual? Nick, I know thats one of your pet peeves when a high end kit doesnt come with a manual.

Yes it does have a manual, I'm happy to say. For once I've spent big money on a kit and had them actually provide me with a manual.

I've actually flown one, a buddy has one. Even not being set up my way, I still loved flying it. Kinda flies like a cross between an Evo and a 600N, with the stability and tracking of the Evo but the quickness of a 600N.

Thinking about it, I don't think I've seen a build thread on this. Would anyone be interested in one? I'm not going to do an every step of the way one, but I'll hit the high points if you guys are interested.

Vibe 50

I have flown and owned almost all of the up to date 50's and I can tell you that the new Vibe 50 is untouchable in every sense. It has stability, speed agility and parts availability as a topper.

I can only recommend it to people who are really interested in the best 50 on the market today by far.

shh... Don't tell everybody. Let them have thier 600n's this way there are plenty of parts avail for the rest of us. Wait till you actually see the detail in the manual. I would say the JR and Hirobo manuals have got to be the best in the business.

You don't know me, there's no waiting. I've already got the frames done.

Definitely not disappointed. There's so many nice touches in this, everything fits perfectly, the only issues so far are that I'm missing some washers, and I'm fairly certain that there was a committee at JR design that decided to design the most needlessly complex and heavy front radio tray they could.

I'm skipping flybarless on this. The budget just doesn't allow it now, and I sold my Vbar that I had on the 600N. I'm going old school.

So what's the verdict, do you guys want to see a build thread, or not? I've been taking pics of the interesting bits, and the tips and tricks I use when I'm building something for myself, so if you guys want it, I can do one.

Will do, I'll write it up tomorrow, I'll have the heli done by then. I've got about an hour and a half into it, and the frames are all done, it's sitting on the gear.

Eury, you probably aren't missing any washers, you probably used a few on the frames where none were called for. I did the same thing but I just replaced them later on, I'd rather have the washers than not.

Why have a build thread? You follow the manual, with maybe 1 exception, and two places to be careful (see the Vibe 50 build tips thread) and it flies great.

I guarantee , you will have a smile from ear to ear when you take this bird up... by far this is the best 50 size machine out there IMHO...both build and flight characteristics
