Silly me. I dialed my fan in last night and then mounted my engine to the airframe. I was tightening one of the 3MX15 screws and snapped the head off. Luckily, there was enough screw sticking out to grab with vice grips to remove it, but now I need another 3Mx15 socket head cap screw. Our local Ace Hardware has metric stuff in 3M, but not in a socket head cap screw.

I'm trying to find some locally, if not I'll drop and order for a pack from John (after IRCHA (no, I'm not going, but I think he is))

No biggie, I'm still waiting on servos and gyro. I just wanted to vent a little.

Nice to meet a fellow screw snapper. I always get everything where it needs to be and I go "Oh a little tighter is always better" SNAP

I trashed a fan hub the other day, I was trying to take the bolt out when it went. That one was just below the surface and could not get it out, drilled and tapped a new hole, it was off so it gave me enough reason to order the BBC.
