I have been out of the sport for a while( about a year or two). I was considering getting a bigger electric. I have a trex 450 that I need to put back together. I use to fly nitro's before so I like that size, I just dont like dealing with the mess and tuning the engine. So what do yall suggest? My considerations are parts price and avalibility. Thanks for the help.

I like my trex 500, not quite as big as a 30 nitro, but still packs a good punch. I haven't got one yet but I hear a trex 600e with an 8 cell setup is the dogs as well.
For now though I'm sticking to my trex 500 good parts pricing and can be flown on 2x trex 450 packs in series if you have a few hanging around.

Good luck

I agree. Just flew my 500 rex again for the 3rd time and am in love. I own a rex 450 and 600 nitro, and a blade 400, and of all the 500 seems to be the most stable. newbie pilot, and the 500 gets right off the ground without a lot of money. $1000 geared nicely, and handles my sport flying great.
