I have a N9 coming that has the center and side SE engine mounts. I know the center is the one that is supposed to help with vibes and fuel foaming but do the side ones offer any benefit? Are they much heavier than the stock plastic ones?

havnt noticed any real benefit to using the side mounts other than looks, the center mount will stiffen the frame . if you have foaming fuel than the mounts are not going to help you should be checking your runout and engine tuning or main rotor.

Totally agree there with you its probably something else out of balance or not running true. Ive even seen before in the past out of balance tail blades cause engine foaming !! Check and re-dial in the hub and tune the engine and all should be fine, my N9 runs great with the fuel tank like a mill pond totally stock out the Box :-)

If you are not crashing u are not flying hard enough?
