If you increase the head speed to 9000 RPM they will become straight again and then you will be able to reuse them.

I wish I could fly 24/7

LMAO, I have never tried that method..

The funny thing is, even with both the mainshaft and spindle bent like that, that is the ONLY damage to the head(well, except for the flybar). She went in HARD but not even a scratch on the frame, the boom and hyperdrive are a different story..

There was a guy at our feild used to hammer his main shafts and feathering spindles straight and reuse them. He could never figure out why his stuff never flew right

I did strait a raptor main shaft on one saturday, just to fly again the same day - using a dial indicator, it was just fine (2300 rpm with no shakes at all). even though, it went to the garbage as soon as I got a new one two days after.

My wife never asks me what I am thinking about: she already knows: sex and helicopters

If those parts might be OK, I shudder to think of what the rest of the machine looked like afterwards.

Actually aside from the boom, there was NO other damage. Well the blades and flybar took a hit, but thats expected. Not even a scratch on the pipe. Even the tail case is fine even though the shaft was majorly bent. These things are built like tanks..

Now when you say "these things" - are you referring to a Synergy?

I know the N9 is built like a tank - but I ask because the picture says "Trex_700_7.jpg". Hence my confusion.

I love my Synergy, but I'm not to the point where I can look at a shaft and say "That's from an N9!"

The tail gears survived. BUT the boom kinda went THROUGH the crown as it was shoved up against the main shaft...

What's the total cost to get that bad boy back in the air?

PS: Should you really have your Synergy parts laying on your Trex towel???

I got a helicopter for my girlfriend,
It was a good trade!

Their bent so I dont think it minds. However, the new parts will NEVER touch a trex towel..

With the upgrade parts I am gettin, I come in just under 250 to get her back in the air..
