I didn't realize you needed that much cyclic - of course I don't have any real experience with flybarless. What were you running on your flybar'd machines way back when?

9deg on a flybar

you gotta run more cyclic on flybarless because you dont have the flybar anymore and if you run 8deg cyclics in hard 3d you will get a cyclic blowout and its not pretty when that happens, its just like when you tail kicks out on your 180deg and your not ready for it......

This is exactly right.

For example at full collective fast forward flight your flybarless system will be using around 30% or more of the swash cyclic throw to avoid pitching up. This is why the head design is critical and why I think even the Mikado washout base could be better. If you look at Inks picture his washout arm links are almost parallel to the main shaft when they should really be angled in a little bit.

I personally use a Mikado washout and modified Raptor 90 washout arms to gain more travel.
