I always thought the inverted funnel was one of the coolest "tricks". Even more pleasing to the eye than tic-toc's and piro-flips NO stick-banging required, just smooth controlled flight, but seemingly defying the laws of aerodynamics at the same time. Here's my latest attempt at the funnel-- still a work in progress, actually the clouds in this VID are more imppressive than the "funnel" but it's getting there.

I would say it looks good.

But quick to say I wouldn't know a bad funnel from a good one.

Hey guys, what's shaken. I've been off-the-grid all week, camping in the wilderness. Not even cell-phone coverage. Didn't think were was a road in the US that didn't have coverage. No time for flying, too busy mountain biking and eating smores.

Nice work there Doug. I'm with you on the inverted funnels. One of the most interesting and fluid moves to watch. Its high on my 3d wish list.
