Radio - Futaba FASST > Another Question for 9Z owners...

Guys,

I am programming all my models into 9ZHP WC2. I found lots online help and manuals on Futaba's website(thanks for that).
The manual for this radio is over 150 pages. And it is amazing what radio can do over my 9C Super.
So far there is one issue that I am struggling with.
How do you reverse a function(not a servo) on the 9Z?

I need to reverse the aileron function but can't figure it out.
On my 9C there is a menu for that called "Swash AFR" and I would go there and make the current value negative(if it is positive) or positive (if it is negative) and it would take care of it. And same would go for elevator and pitch functions.
On the 9Z, I can see an AFR menu but it is lot diferent(lot more complicated). There is a curve and you can pick a finction(like Aileron) and change the value but you can't make it positive or negative. It only gives you range between 0 and 100. And all you can do is to change the travel rate for that function. Plus I don't even know if this is same as what Swash AFR in my 9C.
9Z manual explains this AFR as kind a like a dual/rate function.
So I could really use your help on this. How do I reverse a function controlled by multiple servos? (as a side note I am using swash type SR-3 120 CCPM)

Thanks

You need to go to SWH, which is in the model memory. Here you set the swash travel & direction just like a 9c Tx

I can't believe myself. I was so focused on other things and didn't see the obvious I guess. Yeah it is right there and just like my 9C. Kind of shame on me that I couldn't pull it off myself.
Thanks Brian.

And do not take it personally nappyroots but I can't call that cheezy looking plastic as a radio no matter how advance the spectrum function works over all other Futaba radios. Even some top pilots in our field left their high end futaba radios for that Dx7 and they all have a valid reasoning. They say it is fast. Well, this is something I don't need. I don't do 3D and even slowest 9C is fast enough for me.
I do agree though 9Z is definitely NOT user friendly radio but it has features that will satisfy my needs for probably another decade.
It sure would be better to have a 12Z in my hands but I don't have over a grand to spend on a radio right now and this radio came from a friend literally for free. It is now my main radio. And I am sure I will enjoy all these complex features once I master how to use it...

Thanks

It seems hard at first but after some time programming seems easy you just have to remember to switch to all conditions and set everything you want to be the same in all conditions. I can't imagine going back to a standard Tx after having all the inflight adjustability. captb

If it's gonna happen it'll happen up there!
