Dear sirs,

I just got the Phoenix-Sim and installed it along with DiretcX9 on parallels on my newest Intel-based iMac running Windows Vista.

Phoenix sim was installed with no issues. The only problem was when I tried to launch the sim it opened but there were "no words" inside the dialog boxes. I clicked on the buttons and they opened new windows immediately but I didnīt know what to do because any word was displayed inside the buttons or anywhere.

Please let me know what can I do in order to see the texts?

Thank you in advance for your kind help.

J. Tobias

Far as I know its only really guaranteed to work under Bootcamp, but I would send an email to their tech support (support@phoenix-sim.com) - theyre usually on the ball.

Phoenix will not run under Parallels. Parallels only supports a subset of DirectX 8, not DirectX 9. And even the games it does support run much slower under Parallels than when run natively. If you boot into Windows using Bootcamp, then Phoenix will run just fine. The same thing is true for RealFlight.

Some sims that will run under Parallels if you want a sim fix without rebooting, are Clearview, HeliSimRC, and FMS. I've heard that AFPD also runs but haven't tried it myself.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you both for your help.
Phoenix is already working under bootcamp.

It is amazing!
