e-E-Sky Honey Bee- Lama- Belt CP- E-Smart > Is the knighthead set really necessary for the HBK2?

I've been flying my HBK2 without the knighthead set installed to save a little weight. Is the knighthead set really that necessary? What are the advantages of having the knighthead set installed?

I had a recent hard landing which resulted in a slight bend in the tail boom. I wonder if the knighthead set would have prevented the bent tail boom? Thanks.

Just for support, unless you are stickbanging that little HBK, you dont need them.

It would look funny without it on there ... kinda like a BCP.

Ah they probably would of broke at the tips anyway found out on my first scale build mine were never glued just sittin on there anyway. I think they are more for looks just like the horizontal stab.

When I first just got my King2, one of the knight set thing came apart in air, it was hanging straight down so I couldn't land. I tried to drag forward and land but lack of experience caused the heli to crash.

racin, I took mine off the first day I got the King 2, but I do believe they will "help" support the boom in a rather "hard" landing.
