Anyone got any experience of programming this ESC, it's on my KDS 450S heli. In normal mode and even in idle up, the heli needs a lot of collective pitch to climb out, and the motor bogs slightly before the heli lifts off. (20C 2100mAh lipo - new, borrowed from my mate)I'm hoping, seeing as this heli is sold as a beginner 3D heli that the response has been toned down somewhat. I will have to check the amount of collective pitch - not done that yet.

From the ESC instruction sheet I gather that I have to wait for a certain sequence of beeps, then select the "option" in the "menu" by hitting full throttle within a second or so. Hopefully I can set full throttle from these options.

Also, for safety, I assuming that I should ensure the motor pinion is not engaging with the main gear because I need the motor connected to the ESC in order to get it to beep etc.

Thanks for any help.

Found my way around the bleeping menu - now I know what I've set it to, as per the manual - just need the weather for some shakedown flights.
